Kiabab Chert is associated with the Kiabab Limestone Formation of northern Arizona, southern Utah, and southeastern Nevada.  Primarily occurs as abundant nodules protruding from limestone along Kanab Creek, Kiabab Gulch near Paria, Utah, and the northern slope of the Grand Canyon.  Outcrops throughout Clark County and into Lincoln County, Nevada.
